EVENT: Back to the 80s
Who doesn’t want to go back to the future?
Recently we were contracted to style an event with a Back to the 80s theme at RACV Royal Pines. We worked closely with AV Partners to develop the theme from concept to event night.
Our coordinators got straight to work brainstorming and researching what was hot in the 80’s and what was not. We came up with ideas from cassettes and roller blades to Pacman and slinkys.
Coming up with the ideas is just the first step. Our creative team threw around some ideas (along with glitter and paint) to work out how to create the concepts to bring what we imagined in our heads to life.
The night came together with blue chair covers, white bands and lanterns set up poolside for guests to enjoy the outdoors of Royal Pines.
With Rubik’s cubes centrepieces and Lego table numbers, guests spent the night reminiscing about their youth and bragging about how long it would take to solve the Rubik’s cube!
Life size Pacman were on the go around the room – watch out for Pinky, Inky, Blinky and Clyde.
